Social Responsibility and a Biblical Worldview
Teachers play an important role in modeling behaviors including social responsibility. This involves in-school and out-of-school environment activities and conversations. Over the past decade, social media and personal technology have grown and connected individuals. This is also true of technology that has been implemented and designed for classroom use. Social responsibility is an issue that many people say needs to have tighter restrictions and monitoring. Teachers are obligated that when feasible they should engage in conversations about moral and responsible interactions along with conflict resolution, social and emotional learning, and collaborative communication. Students need these skills to effectively communicate, and become successful citizens and moral characters of God. Allowing students to view situations and problems that create cohesion and acceptance in the world around them is a valuable lesson.
