Over the past decade, social media and personal technology have grown and connected individuals. This is also true of technology that has been implemented and designed for classroom use. Social responsibility is an issue that many people say needs to have tighter restrictions and monitoring. Digital Citizenship provides information to teachers, parents, and especially students who use technology devices at home and at school. Many educators are hesitant to use technology in the classroom because they understand the risks associated with this type of learning. It is our responsibility, especially when asking students to complete assignments and assessments online, to actively observe and inform them on how to do this safely.
